wow! i just found some great ebay deals on some new

one BIG step completed. i have decided on the adoption agency we will use. it came down to two favorites. of course in life there is not a perfect choice, just the best choice.

pre-GO checklist

okay so far i have this under our belt:

1. have contacted at least 6-7 different agencies asking about thier guidelines, procedures, etc.
2. received info. packets from 3-4 agencies to review and compare
3. researched, on my own, the country of Ethiopia, the Hague agreement and the legits.
4. contacted other families who have adopted through the Ethiopia program.

first step. choosing the agency. i think we have found the one. but , for now i still do my research. my goal was to

heart bound

at first we were considering looking into kazahkstan. it has a wonderful program where you go and bond for two weeks. HOWEVER the total travel time for at least one parent would be two months! that seemed a bit , well, excessive.

i happened to talk to someone briefly who adopted through ethiopia.
